President Quang to visit India, Bangladesh

VOV.VN - President Tran Dai Quang will pay a three-day State visit to India March 2-4 and a three-day State visit to Bangladesh March 4-6 at the invitations of his Indian and Bangladeshi counterparts Ram Nath Kovind, and Mohammad Abdul Hamid.

Ahead of President Quang’s visit, the Times of India ran an article on the event marking 46 years of bilateral ties. 

The visit follows Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s recent trip to India to attend their Republic Day and a summit to mark the 25th anniversary of the ASEAN-Indian dialogue partnership.

Vietnam and India established diplomatic ties on January 7 in 1972.

Since diplomatic relations were established on February 17, 1973 the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Bangladesh have seen positive development in a variety of fields, especially economy and trade.
