World renowned actors set to feature in remake of “Ve Si Sai Gon”

VOV.VN - Chris Pratt of the Avengers and Wu Jing, the star of the massive Chinese blockbuster “Wolf Warrior”, are both set to star in an English language remake of the Vietnamese action-comedy “Ve Si Sai Gon”, also known as “Saigon Bodyguards”, for Universal, according to Hollywood Reporter.

The film is set to be produced by Anthony and Joe Russo, the directors of "Avengers: Endgame", and will base the movie on the 2016 Vietnamese box office hit, while Alex Gregory and Peter Huyck will be responsible for writing the script.

The original “Ve Si Sai Gon” was an action-comedy film directed by Ken Ochiai starring Thai Hoa, Kim Ly, Chi Pu, and B Tran. The movie follows the intense and hilarious journey of two professional bodyguards as they try to complete their most important assignment ever.
