Vu Thi Thao crowned Miss Identity Tourism Vietnam 2026
VOV.VN - Vu Thi Thao from Thanh Hoa province in northern Vietnam surpassed 30 finalists to claim the Miss Identity Tourism Vietnam 2026 crown on July 29 at Pham Van Dong Square, Quang Ngai province.
Centered on the theme "Essence of Vietnam," the grand finale featured opening group dances alongside national costume (Ao dai), swimsuit, evening gown, and Q&A competitions.
In the bilingual Q&A round, the 23-year-old student delivered a compelling message on enduring beauty, stating that while physical appearance fades over time, positive community contributions and cultural preservation leave a lasting mark.
Born in 2003, Thao is currently an English Pedagogy student at Hong Duc University. Standing 1.70 meters tall with measurements of 83-60-93 cm, she also swept two subsidiary awards: Miss Photogenic and Most Popular Beauty via public voting.
Dinh Ngoc Bao Chau was named 1st Runner-up, while Nguyen Minh Hoang Kim took 2nd Runner-up. The 3rd Runner-up titles went to Nguyen Thi Thuy Tien and Huynh Ngoc Phung.
Following her coronation, Thao will embark on a nationwide tenure alongside the organizers to promote Vietnamese tourism, traditional heritage, and cultural diplomacy.
The Miss Identity Tourism Vietnam pageant aims to honor the intellect, grace, and cultural pride of Vietnamese women, while encouraging the younger generation to introduce the nation’s destinations and heritage to the world.
