Vietnamese photographer listed among finalists of Smithsonian contest
VOV.VN -Vietnamese photographer Binh Duong from Hanoi has been listed among 10 finalists in the travel category at the 14th annual Smithsonian photo contest.The winner of the competition will be announced on March 28.
Duong captures the image of a man walking barefoot across burning charcoal in the northern mountainous province of Ha Giang, where the Pa Then ethnic group performs a fire dance every new year to pray for prosperity and to exorcise spiritual demons. |
