Vietnamese beauty wins sub-titles at Miss Tourism International 2024
VOV.VN - Local beauty Vu Quynh Trang was named as Miss South East Asia Tourism Ambassadress at the Miss Tourism International 2024, which wrapped up in Malaysia on December 13.
Trang, who is Miss Tourism International Vietnam 2024, also won the Best National Costume title at the beauty pageant.
The ultimate winner of the Miss Tourism International 2024 was Yana Barrido of the Philippines.
In addition, the representative of Thailand grabbed Miss Tourism Queen of the Year, while the beauty of Venezuela claimed the Miss Tourism Metropolitan tile.
Elsewhere, the Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan and Miss Tourism Global titles went to representative of the UK and Kyrgyzstan.
Miss Tourism International was first held in 1994, with the competition aiming to promote tourism and cross-cultural exchanges among various participating countries.
Vietnam has so far sent several representatives to the pageant over the years, with Hoang Thu Thao, Thuy Linh, and Giao Linh winning the Best National Costume award in 2016, 2017, and 2018, respectively. Hoang Thu Thao also finished among the top 10 in the 2016 contest.
Most notably, 2021 saw Hoang Huong Ly named among the Top 5. She also won the Miss Tourism Metropolitan International title.
