Vietnam to host Miss Grand International 2027
VOV.VN - Vietnam will host Miss Grand International 2027, which is expected to take place in September or October 2027.
The announcement was made on July 3 at a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City, where the Top 30 finalists of Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 were also introduced.
The event will feature activities taking international contestants to heritage destinations across Vietnam, offering opportunities to showcase the country’s natural beauty, cultural identity and people.
Sponsorship opportunities for Miss Grand International 2027 have also been officially opened, with organisers seeking support from the business community to help ensure the success of the event.
According to President of Miss Grand Vietnam Pham Kim Dung, hosting Miss Grand International 2027 is expected to help promote Vietnam’s image, culture and people to the world.
Pham Kim Dung said this year’s competition aims to identify a contestant who combines beauty, intelligence, confidence and the ability to inspire, and who will represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2026 in India.
She added that because the international competition will be held earlier than usual, the schedule of Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 has been adjusted to give the eventual winner more time to prepare.
The final of Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 is scheduled for July 31 to determine the successor to Nguyen Thi Yen Nhi and Vietnam’s representative at Miss Grand International 2026 in India.
Reigning Miss Grand International Emma Tiglao will attend the final as a special guest.
