Vietnam selected to play host to Miss Earth 2023

This will be an excellent chance for Vietnam to popularise the country’s land, people, and tourism, said Ngoc Anh at a press briefing on February 17.

She said her company will also thoroughly prepare facilities in order to welcome more than 100 beauties from all over the world who will participate in the beauty pageant.

Ngoc Anh also revealed that her company is holding the copyright to Miss Ethnic Vietnam, which is scheduled to take place in March.

The competition aims to honour the beauty of Vietnamese women and the cultural identity of various ethnic groups, as well as strengthening solidarity among them.

Most notably, the winner of Miss Ethnic Vietnam will earn the chance to compete at Miss Earth 2023.

Miss Earth was originally launched by the Philippines Carousel Production Company in 2001 to promote environmentally-friendly activities.

Previously, Vietnam played host to Miss Earth 2010.
