Vietnam Cultural House inaugurated in Veneto (Italy)

VOV.VN - The Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association in the Veneto region, north Italy, has recently inaugurated the Vietnam Cultural House in Venice and handed over the project to Vietnamese students in Venice.

Addressing the inauguration ceremony, Renato Darsie, president of the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association in Veneto, highlighted the significance of the project which, in addition to the teaching of Vietnamese at Ca' Foscari University, helps contribute to promoting cooperation and cultural exchange between Italy and Vietnam.

Renato expressed his hope that through the Vietnam Cultural House in Venice, cultural exchanges and cooperation between Vietnam and Italy, or with the Veneto region, would be furthered in the near future.

Taking the floor, Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy Duong Hai Hung thanked the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Association in Veneto for their efforts to set up such an important facility for Vietnamese people, especially students, in the locality.

The opening of the Vietnam Cultural House in Venice is an important event in the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Italy, contributing to enhancing cultural understanding between the two countries and building a bridge for the future of bilateral relations, he noted.

The Ambassador said he hopes that Vietnamese students will organize cultural events about Vietnam in the coming time to introduce to Italian friends, and at the same time to encourage young Vietnamese people to come and study in Italy.

Currently, approximately 50 Vietnamese students are following different training courses in Venice.
