Two beauties to represent Vietnam at Miss & Mister Celebrity International
VOV.VN - Doan Thuy Vy and Son Ngoc Hau have been announced as Vietnamese representatives at the Miss & Mister Celebrity International 2026 pageant scheduled to take place in Malaysia later this year.
The announcement was made by organisers of Miss & Mister Celebrity Vietnam, following a string of strong results by Vietnamese contestants in recent editions of the international pageant.
Doan Thuy Vy, who won the Miss Celebrity Vietnam 2025 title, and Son Ngoc Hau, the first runner-up of Mister Celebrity Vietnam 2025, will represent the country in the female and male competitions respectively.
Vy graduated from the Ho Chi Minh City University of Theatre and Cinema. Earlier she finished in the Top 10 of Miss Cosmo Ho Chi Minh City 2026 and the Top 10 for the media beauty award at a national beauty pageant in 2024. She is now a model and an actress.
The model said representing Vietnam at an international competition offers an opportunity to introduce the confidence and elegance of Vietnamese women to global audiences.
Son Ngoc Hau holds a Master's degree in Business Administration. He works as a model, director, and catwalk coach. He received several special awards during Mister Celebrity Vietnam 2025 before being selected to represent Vietnam internationally.
Hau said he hopes to showcase the confidence and character of Vietnamese men while striving for a strong result at the competition.
Vietnamese contestants have posted notable performances at Miss & Mister Celebrity International in recent years.
The 2024 edition was hosted in Vietnam, where Doan Bao An finished in the Top 5 of the Mister Celebrity International competition.
In 2025, Tran Tran My Linh won the Miss Celebrity International crown, while Nguyen Dinh Tuan Kiet finished as second runner-up in the Mister Celebrity International contest.
According to organisers, Miss & Mister Celebrity International seeks contestants who combine stage presence with communication skills and the ability to promote their national cultures.
