TV series scooped top prizes at VTV Awards 2019

The TV series Ve Nha Di Con (Come home, my dear child) scooped top prizes at the VTV Awards 2019 which ended in Hanoi on September 8.

Accordingly, the 85-episode film won the VTV Award for impressive TV series. The film’s leading main roles, People’s Artist Trung Anh and Bao Thanh were presented the impressive TV serial actor and actress awards, respectively.
The Giai Dieu Tu Hao (Pride of Melody), a popular music program produced by Vietnam Television (VTV) won the “Program of the Year”.
Pop star Dong Nhi was honored with the title “Impressive singer”. Thanh Trung bagged the “Impressive emcee”. Prof. PhD. Nguyen Thanh Liem, former Director of National Children Hospital got the title “Person of the year”.
The documentary film Duong ve (The way home) won the “Impressive documentary film” prize while images of the 2019 North Korea–United States Summit got the “Impressive News in Image”.
"Happy Memories", a television program airing on VTV3 channel, with the purpose to help viewers remember beautiful or impressive memories in the Decade of 1960, 1970, 1980, 1990 and 2000 was named “Impressive Program of Culture, Science and Education”.
Launched by VTV in 2014, the annual awards honor performers who had outstanding contribution in the fields of film, music, theater and TV programs, which have received a positive response from local audiences for a year.
