Seven foreign teams attend Da Nang Int'l Fireworks Festival 2023

VOV.VN - Seven foreign teams from the UK, Italy, Poland, France, Australia, Canada, and Finland will join hosts Vietnam at the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2023 (DIFF) due to take place from June 2 to July 8.

This information was unveiled by the Da Nang Department of Tourism at a press conference on April 21 as it launched the return of the festival after a three-year suspension caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to organisers, the highlight of the festival is Enjoy Da Nang 2023 which is one of the biggest events of the "WOW Da Nang" scheme under a tourism promotion campaign “WOW Vietnam” which has been launched nationwide by Sun Group.

This year's festival themed “The World Without Distance" will aim to highlight the strong recovery of the global tourism in the post-pandemic period.

Each team will put on a 20-minute performance based on various themes. Both Vietnamese and Finnish teams will attend the opening night of DIFF 2023 on the evening of June 2.

This year will see the DIFF 2023’s stage decorated in a modern and spacious style along with a water music and lighting show. The event is set to see plenty of unique performances from foreign artists hailing from 25 countries on the special stage.
