Sculptures for royal cremation ceremony near completion
The Office of Traditional Arts is putting the finishing touches to a sculpture of God Narayana with a smiling face of His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej showing his royal grace towards the Thai people and the world.
The Office of Traditional Arts is also making other sculptures such as the sculpture of God Shiva, God Indra, angels, Heavenly Kings, the Great Lion, and the mystic creature of Singha. The sculptures are being made from the imagination of craftsmen combined with traditional techniques to reflect the realism art in the era of King Rama IX.
