Online book fair marks salvation journey undertaken by Uncle Ho
VOV.VN - An online book fair and exhibition debuted at www.book365.vn on June 4 to mark the 110th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s departure from the country on June 5, 1911, to find the a way to ultimately liberate the nation.
On display throughout the fair are books from nearly 100 publishing houses, which tells the story about the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.
The occasion will also feature online talks between authors and readers as a way of helping to promote a reading culture among the community.
The event will also see an exhibition launched, featuring 130 articles, 750 books, 271 documentaries, 50 videos, and 73 stamp collections, all of which are related to Uncle Ho's 30-year national salvation journey from 1911 to 1941.
The virtual book fair and exhibition is being jointly organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Popularization and Education, and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, with the function scheduled to last until June 30.
