Nguyen Lam Phuong to represent Vietnam at Miss Tourism World 2026
VOV.VN - Nguyen Lam Phuong, the fourth runner-up of Miss and Mister Tourism Vietnam 2026, has been selected to represent the country at Miss Tourism World 2026, continuing Vietnam’s efforts to promote its cultural and tourism identity on the international stage.
The announcement was made on June 10 by director Pham Duy Khanh, CEO of FIVE6 Entertainment, who confirmed Lam Phuong as Miss Tourism World Vietnam 2026.
The 25-year-old beauty hailing from Lai Chau province is currently pursuing a master's degree in media and journalism management at the Academy of Journalism and Communication.
She won the fourth runner-up of Miss and Mister Tourism Vietnam 2026, where she impressed judges and audiences with her elegance, confidence and ability to communicate Vietnam’s cultural and tourism values.
As Miss Tourism World Vietnam 2026, Lam Phuong expects to promote the country’s unique cultural values, as well as its heritage, landscapes and people to international friends.
Miss Tourism World 2026 is scheduled to take place in October and November 2026 in Hangzhou, China, bringing together contestants from numerous countries and territories worldwide.
Vietnamese contestants have achieved notable success in international tourism-themed beauty competitions in recent years.
In 2022, Vietnamese representative Huong Ly secured the second runner-up title at Miss Tourism World 2022. The competition attracted contestants from 35 countries and territories and marked the first time Vietnam hosted the pageant's grand finale.
Building on that success, Nguyen Giang Tien claimed the second runner-up title at Miss World Tourism 2023 and also won the Best Popular award.
In 2025, Vo Tan Sanh Vy was crowned Miss Southeast Asia Tourism Ambassador 2025, further strengthening Vietnam’s reputation in international tourism and cultural promotion competitions.
