Mural painting reflecting Vietnam - Kazakhstan diplomatic relations

VOV.VN - A mural painting showcasing the Vietnam – Kazakhstan diplomatic ties was inaugurated in Hanoi on June 30 to mark 30 years of diplomatic ties between the two countries (June 29, 2022).

The 14m long mural, which is placed at the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam, is based on an artwork produced by famous Kazakh artist Yerlan Baizhanov.

It was created by painter Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, who earlier designed the mural Ceramic Road by Red River, and her staff.

Addressing the launching ceremony, Kazakhstan Ambassador to Vietnam Yerlan Baizhanov stated that the artwork will have a profound and practical significance to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Kazakhstan and Vietnam.

Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, president of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), noted that Vietnamese people remain hugely grateful for the support shown by the Kazakh people during their past struggle for independence and freedom, as well as national construction and development at present.

The event was jointly held by the Kazakhstan Embassy in Vietnam, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, and the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam.
