Miss Multicultural World 2026 contestants visit National Assembly Building
VOV.VN - International contestants of Miss Multicultural World 2026 visited the National Assembly Building, where they learned about the history, functions and responsibilities of Vietnam’s National Assembly while gaining deeper insight into the country’s culture and heritage.
Phan Thi Kim Oanh, President of Miss Multicultural World 2026, said the tour offered contestants an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s rich cultural heritage and its emphasis on peace, cooperation and sustainable development.
The experience at the National Assembly Building would be a memorable highlight for international contestants during their time in Vietnam for the competition, she added.
A key part of the program was a souvenir exchange between the National Assembly Office and the competition’s organizing board. Representatives of the National Assembly Office presented gifts featuring Vietnamese cultural identity to Phan Thi Kim Oanh and international contestants.
The gifts reflected Vietnam’s hospitality and respect for international guests while also introducing distinctive aspects of Vietnamese culture. Contestants expressed appreciation for the warm reception and described the experience as memorable. At the end of the program, leaders of the National Assembly Office and contestants took commemorative photos.
Through such cultural exchange activities, contestants are expected to serve as ambassadors promoting Vietnam’s image as a contribution to stronger mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation among nations.
