Miss Earth 2021 Destiny Wagner meets with Vietnamese students
VOV.VN - Destiny Wagner, the winner of Miss Earth 2021, has recently joined the organising board of the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 pageant to hold meetings alongside students across the country.
The delegation toured South Can Tho University, Tay Do University, Lao Cai College, and Hanoi University of Culture, aiming to encourage students to participate in the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 beauty contest.
Wagner received a warm welcome from students who she met and exchanged talks with during the trip. The foreign beauty was always given plenty of compliments for her friendliness, closeness and sociability with everyone.
The Miss Belize had the chance to get acquainted with students from the Tay, Nung, Thai, Kho Mu, and Ray ethnic groups.
She expressed a keen interest in the confidence of girls who did not hesitate to express their cultural identity through a collection of impressive costumes and traditional songs.
Wagner also showed them the traditional dance of Belize and invited local students to dance with her.
The Belizean beauty is set to work as a member of the judging panel for the Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 pageant.
The beauty contest will run from April 27 to July 16 to help honour the true beauty of the body, soul, intelligence, and special talents of young girls from the 54 ethnic groups residing in the country.
The Miss Ethnic Vietnam 2022 pageant returns after a nine-year hiatus. It aims to boost cultural connection among various Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to the development of society as a whole.
