Lao Cai to host largest rose festival in northwestern region
VOV.VN - The 2022 Fansipan Rose Festival is scheduled to be held at Sun World Fansipan Legend Tourist Area in the northwestern province of Lao Cai from April 23 to May 23, with the event offering visitors a unique and fresh experience.
The festival will span a total area of 50,000 square metres inside Sun World Fansipan Legend Tourist Area of Sun Group.
Roughly 100 varieties of roses from many countries, including the UK, France, and Japan will be featured at the event.
During the festival, there will be a rose parade consisting of 48 flower cars controlled by artists wearing traditional costumes of the various ethnic groups which reside in Sa Pa town.
Elsewhere, a horse race will take place from April 29 to May 2, drawing the participation of 30 racers from the northwestern region.
