Khanh Hoa to host Miss Cosmo 2026’s grand finale in early 2027
VOV.VN - The Miss Cosmo 2026 pageant is scheduled to take place in Nha Trang ward and some localities in Khanh Hoa province, Central Vietnam, from December 2026 to January 2027.
The plan was unveiled by event organiser Saigon Universe Corporation during their meeting with the Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee on July 6.
The highlights including the semi-finals, the final night and awards ceremony will be held at renowned venues in Khanh Hoa province. The beauty contest is expected to attract 90 contestants from countries and territories around the world.
Saigon Universe Corporation pledged to utilize socialised funding and coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to develop comprehensive plans covering security and public order, fire safety, medical services, and environmental sanitation.
In his remarks, Nguyen Long Bien, vice chairman of Khanh Hoa provincial People’s Committee, highly appreciated the plan by Saigon Universe Corporation to organise the Miss Cosmo 2026 pageant in the province.
Hosting the contest would support the development of tourism services, enhance Khanh Hoa’s international profile and reinforce its position as a destination for major cultural and entertainment events, he said.
The provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was tasked with working with the organiser to finalise the proposal before submitting a detailed implementation plan to the provincial administration.
Authorities also encouraged the organiser to include cultural performances, tourism promotion activities and community programmes alongside the pageant to broaden its impact and enrich visitors’ experience.
In 2025 Miss Cosmo Yolina Lindquist of the United States surpassed 70 other contestants from around the world to secure the title. Vietnamese representative Nguyen Hoang Phuong Linh concluded her journey in the Top 10.
