Israeli films to delight Vietnamese audiences
A number of outstanding Israeli films will be introduced in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City during the Israeli Film Festival, taking place February 24-March 6.
The films will be screened for free at the National Cinema Central at 87 Lang Ha Street in Hanoi from February 24-27 and at the BHD Star Cineplex at No.2 Hai Trieu Street, District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City from March 3-6.
The films include Nhung nha ao thuat (Magic Men), Khong dong luc (Zero Motivation), Ngoai co thi sao (A Matter of Size), Sua (Jellyfish), and Nam tieng tu Paris (Five Hours from Paris).
Through the films, Vietnamese audiences will have a chance to contemplate the beautiful landscapes of Israel as well as learn more about the culture, tradition and identities of the Israeli people.
The film festival is expected to contribute to tightening the strong co-operation between the two countries as well as friendship between the two peoples.
Over the past 25 years, Vietnam and Israel have developed a firm partnership in the spirit of mutual understanding as well as gained great results in trade co-operation and cultural exchange.
