Hanoi ready for International Culinary Culture Festival 2025

VOV.VN - The capital city of Hanoi is set to host the International Culinary Culture Festival 2025 from November 22 to 23, featuring more than 120 booths run by embassies, foreign representative agencies, local departments of external affairs, and businesses across the country.

Organised by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps, this year’s festival, themed “Trip of Flavors,” aims to connect cultures while promoting Vietnam’s stunning landscapes and hospitable people to international friends.

Speaking at a recent press conference, Hoang Thu Nga, Deputy Head of the organising committee, shared that each dish tells a story about the culture, history, and identity of its country of origin. The festival, she noted, will present a vibrant picture of global culinary excellence and affirm Vietnam’s role as a welcoming home for world cultures.

The event conveys a message of a dynamic and friendly Vietnam that is eager to connect nations for peace, cooperation, and development, she added.

In addition to food exhibitions and tastings, this year’s festival will introduce several new thematic zones, including the ASEAN common roof, global culinary avenue, and three regions of Vietnam, offering visitors an opportunity to explore the richness of both regional and international cuisines.

Elena Bezdetko, spouse of the Russian Ambassador to Vietnam, said the Russian booth will feature signature dishes such as Russian salad and grilled meats, along with traditional souvenirs like Matryoshka dolls and other cultural items. She emphasised that such culinary exchanges serve as important bridges for strengthening friendship and cooperation among nations.

A highlight of the festival will be the three regions specialty zone, showcasing Vietnamese culinary artistry through iconic dishes such as phở (noodle soup), Mì Quảng (another type of noodle soup), grilled spring rolls, and baguettes.

Alongside the food experience, visitors can enjoy a range of entertainment programs, including a fashion food show, global beer fest, art performances, cultural exchanges, and other community activities - all designed to make the festival a lively and engaging celebration of world cuisine and culture.
