Firework display to celebrate opening of Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival

Backers have donated more than VND15 billion to the organising board of the festival to ensure that the event has sufficient funding to put on an extraordinary show for guests.

The province’s military high command has begun installing firework frames close to the beaches in preparation for the opening ceremony.

As of April 29, a wide range of activities have been held at public places in Nha Trang city in response to the 2019 National Tourism Year and the ninth Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival. Activities include art programs, dragon dance performances, a rescue competition on the beach, and a marathon.

Le Duc Vinh, chairman of Khanh Hoa province People’s Committee, said relevant agencies have undergone fundamental preparations for the opening ceremony. Mr Vinh has also requested that specific units ensure security and the scenery of urban areas during the festival.

He also asked that service units avoid hiking room and food prices as well as maintaining food hygiene and other safety standards to ensure that visitors have a positive experience.
