(VOV) - The Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board has announced it will hold an exhibition showcasing fashion in days of antiquity on December 23-27 at the Culture Exchange Centre located at 50 Dao Duy Tu Street in the Hoan Kiem District.
Clothing in ancient times generally drew its inspiration from ao yem and vay dup (Vietnamese-style brassieze and skirt) and the exhibition examines its impact as well as the material and the various styles of clothing worn.
The event will feature works by artists Nguyen Manh Duc, Ha Xuan Huong and Ha Tien Dung and include diverse activities including workshops, seminars and ballet performances among others.
