Da Nang to host first-ever Dawave International Beach Music Festival in 2026

Envisioned as an international-scale cultural and artistic festival, Dawave 2026 aims to establish a distinctive event brand for Da Nang while supporting the development of the city's cultural industries and coastal tourism sector.

Held under the theme "Symphony of the Ocean," the festival will bring together music, culture, art, people and nature in a vibrant seaside setting. Organisers expect Dawave 2026 to showcase Vietnamese music to both domestic and international visitors, and and create opportunities for artistic exchange and creative collaboration.

According to the organising plan, the festival will be divided into several themed experience zones. Key attractions include an art exhibition and visitor check-in area at East Sea Park; DA TASTE, a culinary space featuring around 50 booths showcasing local specialties as well as cuisine from Thailand, the Republic of Korea and Japan; DA RISE, a multicultural performance stage featuring artists from Vietnam and abroad; and DA BEAT & FIRE, an international DJ stage.

The festival will also feature a range of beachside activities, including street carnival performances, beach sports, marine entertainment and water-based experiences.

Dawave 2026 is expected to add a new attraction to Da Nang's tourism calendar and support the city's ambition of becoming “Asia's Leading Festival and Event Destination.” The event is also anticipated to create new opportunities for the growth of cultural and creative industries in the years ahead.
