Childcare Vietnam holds benefit concert in New York
VOV.VN - A Summer Benefit Concert to raise money for needy children in the province of Quang Nam featuring popular Vietnamese pianists was held on June 22 by Childcare Vietnam at the Liederkranz Clubin New York City.

Quynh Nguyen has won numerous prizes in piano competitions including the Artist International Presentation Competition, the Bellflower Orchestra Competition and the Artists of Tomorrow.
She has been described by the Boston Globe as "a musical and expressive player who commands a flexible, singing sound" and has managed to win the hearts of audiences throughout the US and EU.
At the age of 15, she was awarded a scholarship from the Children of the Mekong non-profit organization to pursue advanced training at the National Conservatory of Boulogne in Paris, where she later received first prize of chamber music with unanimous mention.
While in France, Anh performed regularly at festivals, events and charity benefits such as the Arcs Festival.
Currently, she resides in US, performing her beloved classical music, and teaching gifted students.
According to the organizing board, 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales were donated to needy children whom are cared for by Childcare Vietnam in the central province of Quang Nam.
