On display are 14 paintings, drawn by Canadian painters Jean-Maurice Gélinas and Guy Lapierre, which also depict Vietnamese landscapes.

Through their drawings about President Ho Chi Minh, the Canadian painters want to show their respect for the late Vietnamese leader.

On this occasion, Co-chair of the CVS Dr. Nguyen Dai Trang held a book signing event for her book on President Ho Chi Minh.

The 236-page book, written in English, French and Vietnamese languages, features a selection of the President’s articles about peace, democracy and gender equality, including 25 messages sent to leaders of the US and countries from 1919 to 1969; and 25 articles about peace, including letters sent to Pope Paulus VI and Nobel Peace Laureate, Prof. Linus Pauling.

It was Trang’s third book about the late President. Her two previous books are “Ho Chi Minh: Heart and talent of a patriot” and “Ho Chi Minh: Humanity and Development”, which were released in 2010 and 2013, respectively.
