Bulgaria Rose Festival to take place in Hanoi next month

The event will take place on March 8-11 at West Lake Water Park by the Bulgarian Embassy in Vietnam and some agencies and organisations on the occasion to mark the 68th anniversary of diplomatic ties with Bulgaria.

The embassy has co-operated with the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to import 1,000 rose trees of more than 100 different varieties from Bulgaria. The rose trees are being taken care at a ministry institute.

Rosegarden owners in northern Vietnam have been invited to join the festival.

Many kinds of roses will also be brought to the festival. Visitors will have a chance to see special products made from roses such as a rose street, rose house and European garden.

Lots of activities such as Ao dai fashion show and voting for the nicest rose tree will be organised along with art performances.
