Bich Hong to serve as Vietnam's only vocal judge at Asia Arts Festival 2026
VOV.VN - Vietnamese singer Bich Hong has been invited to serve as Vietnam's only vocal judge at the 13th Asia Arts Festival (AAF), taking place in Singapore from July 6 to 12.
Bich Hong, Deputy Head of the Vocal Music Faculty at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, will join the judging panel alongside international artists and experts to select outstanding contestants in the singing category.
The Asia Arts Festival is an international performing arts competition that has been held annually in Singapore since 2013. It gathers artists, arts educators, specialists and students from more than 20 countries and territories to compete in and exchange ideas on singing, instrumental performance and dance.
Speaking about the invitation, Bich Hong said she was honored to join the judging panel, describing it as not only a personal distinction as a singer and vocal instructor but also an opportunity to represent Vietnam alongside arts professionals from across the region and beyond.
She said she will carry out her responsibilities with fairness, objectivity and a strong sense of responsibility, thereby contributing to the selection of outstanding contestants.
Before joining the judging panel, Bich Hong spent many years coaching Vietnamese students for the Asia Arts Festival, with many of her students winning top prizes at the competition.
