A charming, halcyon Vietnam in century-old paintings by French artists
The daily life of Vietnamese people, particularly of local women, more than a hundred years ago, was vividly featured in dozens of paintings by French painters who visited the country during the period.
Many of them, mostly oil paintings, have been sold at international auctions at high prices.
