1.86m-tall model to represent Vietnam at Manhunt International 2026
VOV.VN - Tran Tien Dung has been officially announced as Vietnam's representative at Manhunt International 2026, scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from September 3 to 9, featuring around 40 contestants from countries and territories worldwide.
Born in 1997 in the northern province of Phu Tho, the 1.86m-tall model weighs 79 kg with body measurements of 109-85-103 cm. He graduated in business administration from the Hanoi University of Science and Technology and worked as a marketing director for a fitness center chain before transitioning to modeling.
In December 2025, Dung bested 35 contestants at the Manhunt Vietnam finale in Dong Nai province to claim the top title alongside the Best Physique award.
Following his domestic victory, Dung has focused on physical training, performance skills, communication, and English proficiency. Facing pressure and initial self-doubt after his crowning, he noted he has learned to stay true to himself rather than living by others' expectations, choosing to focus on giving his best in each segment rather than fixating on a specific placement.
"I want to represent a confident, mature, and modern image of Vietnamese men, while spreading the finest values of Vietnam to the international stage," Dung said.
According to Chu Tan Van, representative of the pageant’s rights holder in Vietnam, Dung is expected to win the top title or at least secure a Top 5 finish, citing his strong physique, masculinity, and solid educational background.
For the Iconic National Costume segment and activities in Sri Lanka, Dung has prepared two culturally significant outfits: a five-panel Ao Dai and a "Nguyen Dynasty Royal Robe," created in collaboration with artisan Nam Tuyen. He has also engaged in community activities ahead of his international departure.
Manhunt International, first held in 1993, is a premier male pageant that evaluates contestants on physique, performance, communication skills, career achievements, and community involvement. Vietnam’s previous representatives include Mai Tuan Anh and Tran Manh Kien, with Ngoc Tinh achieving the country's highest result by winning the title in 2017.
