The central province of Khanh Hoa fetched nearly US$50 million from exports in October, up 1.5 percent from September.

Of the figure, exports to Asian countries accounted for 23.3 million US$, to America - US$13.2 million and to Europe - US$9.9 million.

Khanh Hoa's export turnover reached US$420 million in the first ten months of 2006, a year-on-year increase of 10 percent. Its staples, chiefly including garment, seafood, cashew nut, coffee and other farm produce, were shipped to 70 countries worldwide.
