The awards ceremony for International yatch race VinaCapital Hongkong-Vietnam 2008 was held on the evening of October 19 at the Sailing Club in Nha Trang in the south central province of Khanh Hoa.

The organising board presented first prize to the sailing team of boat Hifi, second prize to the Island Fling team and third prize to the FfreeFire 52 team. The fourth and the fifth prizes went to the Fortis Mandrake and Full Metal Jacket teams.

The International yatch race VinaCapital Hongkong-Vietnam 2008 took place from October 15-21. The event drew 10 sailing teams and 100 athletes from around the world.

The event has contributed to introducing a new kind of sports to the public and promoting the image of Nha Trang to investors and tourists from the region and the rest of the world.
