An armed student was keeping 23 children and a teacher at gunpoint on November 29 in a classroom in the US state of Wisconsin, police said, as the stand-off entered its fifth hour.
"We believe there are 23 students in the classroom and the teacher," in addition to the gunman who entered at the end of the school day, Marinette police chief Jeffrey Skorik told a news briefing.
"We have no idea about the motivation," Skorik added, stressing that reports of injuries on some social media outlets were wrong.
