Toru Kinoshita, President of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), emphasised that following the success of last year’s show, this year’s event is set to bring the most attractive models fitted with the latest technological breakthroughs to local consumers.
Visitors will also have the chance to view a wide range of models that meet the demand of the local market.
VMS 2019 will provide a venue for domestic consumers to enjoy the newest models of vehicles equipped with the latest technologies from brands under the VAMA in addition to other famous brands such as Audi, Ford, Jaguar, Honda, Land Rover, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Subaru, Suzuki, Toyota, Volkswagen, and Volvo.
The exhibition will also see the presence of hundreds of brands from the support industry, spare parts and components, and other related industries in order to provide a variety of options and solutions to car lovers.
According to organisers, VMS 2019 is expected to witness the use of new digital technologies that provides visitors with a fresh experience and strengthen connectivity between customers and businesses.
This will be most prominent in the launch of an application for smartphone users which will manage all of the exhibition’s activities and help to guide visitors to select the best experience suited to their own preferences.
Through the use of artificial intelligence, new technologies will help automobile companies connect with consumers and provide potential customers with relevant information.
The five-day event is expected to attract some 200,000 visitors and millions more who will view the event through media and livestreaming outlets.
