On October 26, the delegation attended the India International Agro Trade and Technology Fair (AgroWorld) to meet and potentially seek partners. AgroWorld, the world’s leading agricultural fair, was held in India for the first time by the Indian Council of Food and Agriculture. It showcased products, equipment, machines, technologies and services in the production, processing, packaging and preservation of agricultural products, gardening, livestock, fishery and processed food.
After that, they joined a Vietnam-India Business Forum themed “New Vision for Agriculture: Building and Strengthening Multi stakeholder Partnerships”.
During their stay in India, the delegation also had the opportunity to visit organic and hi-tech agricultural farms to learn from experienced Indian partners.
The Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in India has organized a number of trade promotion programs in the hope of creating a bridge for businesses from the two countries to meet, exchange information, set up partnership and accelerate the consumption of agricultural products so as to achieve the target of lifting bilateral trade value to an ambitious US$15 billion by 2020.
