The company was honoured for its business achievements in the first half of the year.
In the six month period, Vietjet earned more than VND16.4 trillion (US$721.7 million) in total revenue and pocketed VND1.79 trillion (US$78.8 million) in after-tax profit, up 45% from the same period last year.
The company’s Earning Per Share (EPS) was recorded at VND5,737.
By June 30, Vietjet’s total assets reached over VND24.7 trillion (US$1.08 billion) and equity VND7.3 trillion (US$321.2 million), year-on-year increases of 49.6% and 11.9%, respectively.
According to Forbes, the top 50 companies’ market capitalisation occupied more than 60% of the total market on the two bourses, the same as the previous year.
Their total revenue stood at VND734.8 trillion (US$32.3 billion), up 55% year-on-year, while their profits picked up 49% to VND79.46 trillion (US$3.49 billion).
