In his speech, the cabinet leader said, “Vietnamese businesses, including FDI, State, and private businesses contribute to GDP growth, employment, and budget collection, and are also places of technological transfer in the current digital era. The business community take the lead in national construction and development and uphold their core role in creating assets and materials for society, generating more jobs, and making the country prosperous.”
PM Phuc pledged continued institutional reform to support businesses’ rapid and sustainable development.
“The Party and State will continue to boost institutional reform to reach the regional and global level so as to create a favorable environment for businesses to ensure rapid and sustainable development", he emphasized.

"The government will stand side by side with the people and entrepreneurs in their businesses. A business success has a contribution of the administration and its failure has the responsibility of the administration. The success of a business is the success of the government, people, the country,” PM Phuc noted.
He noted with joy that there were more than 102,000 newly established enterprises in the first nine months of the year, with registered charter capital of more than VND12 billion VND on average, the highest level to date.
At the ceremony, he congratulated outstanding entrepreneurs who were honoured with Thanh Giong Cup 2019.
First launched by the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2006, 100 outstanding entrepreneurs nationwide are honoured with the Thanh Giong Cup every three years. The winners are business leaders who have made great contributions to their enterprises and to the country's socio-economic development.
The Government leader voiced his hope that entrepreneurs throughout the nation would proactively become involved in building and revamping institutions and policies for economic development, and develop many initiatives for the program "Vietnamese goods conquer Vietnamese consumers "as well as participate in the" Vietnam Productivity "program, launched by the Party and the State.
Prior to the ceremony, PM Phuc hosted a reception for Director of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Asia and the World Chambers Federation (WCF), Lee Ju Song who also attended the event.
