According to the new adjustments, biofuel E5 RON92 fell by VND613 to VND11,343 per litre, while RON95-III tumbled by VND621 to VND11,939 per litre.
Elsewhere, the price of diesel 0.05S and kerosene has been adjusted to VND10,823 per litre and VND8,639 per litre, representing falls of VND436 and VND502 per litre, respectively.
Moreover, Mazut 180CST 3.5S was sold at no more than VND9,327 per kilogramme, a drop of VND126 per kilogramme.
Both the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance review fuel prices every 15 days as they seek to adjust domestic prices to reflect global market fluctuations.
These drops in fuel prices are expected to contribute to reducing the challenges that local people and businesses face amid the outbreak of the novel coronavirus.
