Retail petrol prices were revised down VND816 per litre as of 3 pm on August 4, marking the 13th price adjustment this year.
According to the Ministries of Industry & Trade and Finance, RON 92 petrol will cost no more than VND19.304 per litre and bio-petrol E5 is set at a maximum of VND18.809 per litre.
Prices of diesel and kerosene went down VND819 and VND638 per litre, respectively, while mazut was reduced by VND582 per kilogram.
With the revisions, gasoline prices rose by VND1,400 per litre and diesel costs fell by VND3,120 per litre compared to the start of this year.
As of August 3, each barrel of RON 92 and diesel 0.05S cost a respective US$69.891 and US$61.465 on the global market, down US$8 from a month earlier.
