Exhibitors from Taiwan (China), Japan, France, the Republic of Korea, and host-nation Vietnam will be displaying bedroom, dining room, kitchen, and office furniture, in addition to flooring, outdoor tables, and chairs.
According to event organisers, there has been a recent boom in the export of Vietnamese wood, with wooden products which are now being present in 120 countries globally.
The country has set this year's wood and wooden product export target of US$11 billion. This figure is expected to reach between US$12 billion and US$13 billion by 2020, before increasing to between US$18 billion and US$20 billion by 2025.
The VIFF 2019’s organising board expects the fair to serve the purpose of promoting trading ties, and providing increased opportunities for businesses to advertise products, exchange experience, and boost market expansion and technology transfer in order to improve efficiency in production methods.
Through the event, businesses will have the chance to increase their competitiveness and build the profile of their own brands in an international forum.
