The fair is scheduled to last for three days and will feature 650 booths showcasing a range of consumer products, agricultural goods, foods, and export items.
The site has been divided into two main areas, including the Ho Chi Minh City enterprise pavilion which puts key products on display, market stabilization products, and prestigious enterprise products from various city associations and provinces' pavilions.
Moreover, a concentrated promotion area that aims to encourage businesses to participate in promotion schemes in order to stimulate consumption and help them liquidate their stocks has also been set up for guests.
All participating firms will be allowed to offer promotions of up to 50%, or even 90%, throughout the duration of the fair.
According to Nguyen Huynh Trang, deputy director of the city's Department of Industry and Trade, this is represents a golden opportunity for local enterprises to distribute their products to customers, while buyers will also be able to enjoy high-quality products at good prices.
During his opening speech, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai stated his belief that the fair will help boost the economic recovery of the southern metropolis whilst simultaneously promoting the domestic consumption market.
