HCM City set to host series of textile and footwear expos

VOV.VN - A number of textile and footwear exhibitions will be held in HCM City from November 20-23 as a means of introducing the nation to modern technologies, solutions, and trends that are taking place within the sector.

The series of expos will include the Vietnam International Textile and Garment Industry Exhibition, the Vietnam International Footwear Machinery and Material Industry Exhibition,  the Vietnam International Textile and Apparel Accessories Exhibition, and the Vietnam International Dyeing and Chemical Industry Exhibition.

A number of the world’s most popular brands from the footwear and textile industry will be on display throughout the events including ZSK and Nantex from Germany, BARUDAN from Japan, in addition to Tajima, Mingling, Luluxin, Jin Yue Lai, Hongfeng, Jinxin, Mingan, Sokiei, Changmeng, and Teng Yu Long.

The expos will see a large number of firms introducing an array of cutting-edge technologies and machinery as well as presenting solutions that can be used within the textile and dyeing sector.

A number of seminars and workshops will also be taking place during the events with several prestigious speakers set to give an in-depth analysis of the effects of the ongoing United States-China trade war on the leather and footwear industry and the ways in which the nation can optimise domestic talents in a digital age.

The occasion is being organised by the Yorkers Trade and Marketing Service Co,Ltd in collaboration with the Vietnam National Trade Fair and Advertising Company (Vinexad) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and other partners.

Furthermore, the exhibition is poised to receive strong support from a number of prestigious industry associations both internationally and domestically. These include the Vietnam Cotton Association, the HCM City Textile and Embroidery Association, the HCM City’s Leather and Footwear Association, the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Enterprises, and the China Sewing Machine Association.
