The event will be jointly held by ADPEX Joint Stock Company, the National Agency for Technology Entrepreneurship and Commercialisation Development, the Agro Processing and Market Development Authority (Agrotrade), the Vietnam Climate Innovation Center, in addition to the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Due to the agricultural sector being greatly affected by the impact of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the occasion is set to offer an ideal platform for exhibitors from around the world to present their state-of-the-art technologies to potential clients, seek partners, expand into new markets, speed up high-tech applications, and boost linkages in terms of agricultural production.

The exhibition will also offer participants an effective trading platform in which to follow the business-to-consumer model.

This is expected to help both individuals and businesses to co-operate as a means of applying modern science and technology in production and processing, in addition to simultaneously ensuring a consistent quality and meeting the high requirements of the consumer market, explained a representative for the event.

Some of the range of products which are set to be displayed during Growtech Vietnam 2020 include machinery, equipment, and technologies for farming, harvesting, preservation and package, processing, as well as ornamental plants used in gardens and urban areas, the representative noted.

Moreover, a series of seminars and trade exchange programmes are scheduled to run for the duration of the event and will be open for experts, businesses, and producers to come and share their experience.

These events are expected to speed up the mechanisation in agricultural production and develop the agricultural sector towards modernisation and international integration.
