Senior leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh

VOV.VN - A delegation of senior leaders from the Party Central Committee, the State President Office, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee on May 18 paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in observance of the late President’s 130th birthday (1890-2020).

Prominent figures in the delegation included Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Tran Thanh Man alongside former leaders of the Party, State, NA and Government.

Delegates laid wreaths at the mausoleum and pledged to firmly pursue the revolutionary path set by President Ho Chi Minh and successfully realize his teachings towards fulfilling the goal of promoting peace, independence, democracy and social progress in the country.

On the occasion, delegates also paid tribute to national heroes and fallen soldiers at the Monument in Hanoi’s Bac Son street.
