The leaders are from the Party Central Committee, the State, the National Assembly, the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee.
They included Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and President of the VFF Central Committee Tran Thanh Man, and many former State and Party leaders.
The delegates expressed their gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh who was the founder and leader of the CPV, the vanguard of the working class, the working people and the Vietnamese nation.
The 90-year glorious history is the foundation for the Party to go ahead with its mission of leading the cause of building a strong socialist Vietnam on a par with major countries in all continents, and realizing the wish of President Ho Chi Minh.
The leaders also laid wreaths at the Monument to Heroes and War Martyrs in Hanoi, in commemoration of those who have laid down their life to the struggle for national independence, freedom and reunification.
