The event will take place across three days and is set to run on May 8, May 15, and May 16, with the committee presenting options for the second time on draft laws to revise and supplement some articles of the Law on the Organisation of the National Assembly along with the government’s reports on socio-economic development plans and the state budget in 2019 and early 2020.
Members are also expected to consider the NA’s draft resolution relating to issues such as the the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement, whilst also considering the national socio-economic development target programme for ethnic minorities and mountainous regions in the 2021 to 2030 period.
Moreover, law makers will also be expanding the NA’s draft resolution on piloting the e-government model in the central city of Danang, along with another on a number of specific financial and budget mechanisms and policies relating to Hanoi.
In addition, the transformation of the investment model of some component projects of the eastern route of the North-South highway in 2017-2020.
Other contents for submission to the National Assembly at the 9th session of the 14th National Assembly will be tabled in order to be evaluated through a series of meetings.
