Ngan said rapid political and security changes in the world are making the tasks of Vietnam’s overseas diplomatic missions harder and more complicated.
“Vietnam’s international integration has obtained remarkable achievements and created opportunities to attract resources for national development and renovation. Overseas diplomatic agencies need to work closely with relevant agencies and enterprises in the country to promote Vietnam’s potential to attract foreign investment and trade and help domestic enterprises expand the market," she said.
The top law-maker said the complicated situation in the East Sea poses a great challenge for maintaining an environment of peace and stability for development.
She urged ambassadors to be well aware of international law to protect national sovereignty and territorial integrity in the East Sea.
