Vietnam, Laos hold government offices' conference

(VOV) - On September 5, Government offices of Vietnam and Laos hosted a conference on general advice work for the government and Prime Minister in Cua Lo town in the central province of Nghe An.

This is the third time the two offices have co-organised the event.

Nguyen Van Nen, head of the Vietnamese Government Office, highlighted the important role of the two offices and that the staff have broaden their knowledge and competence in offering advice to the government and Prime Minister.

He said he hopes participants candidly exchange views to gain more experience to do the advice work better.

Sonxaysi Phandone, head of the Lao Government Office, said the conference would equip his staff with more experience to fulfill tasks in the future.

The conference is also intended to step up closer coordination in the provision of advice for the implementation of agreements signed between the two nations.
