Vietnam congratulates Laos on Party’s 65th anniversary

VOV.VN - Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung and his delegation congratulated the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) on its 65th founding anniversary at its headquarters on March 19.

Head of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Sounthone Xayachak hosts Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Ba Hung

During the meeting hosted by member of the LPRP Central Committee and head of the LPRP Central Committee's Commission for External Relations Sounthone Sayachak, Hung conveyed a letter of congratulations sent by the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee to the LPRP Central Committee and baskets of flowers from CPV General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong to his Laotian counterpart Bounnhang Vorachith and other Lao leaders.

On this occasion, the Vietnamese diplomat also handed over a congratulatory message of Hoang Binh Quan, member of the CPV Central Committee and head of its Commission for External Relations, to his Lao counterpart Sounthone Xayachak.

Sounthone Sayachak thanked Vietnam for its congratulations, saying that the Lao Party, State and people always bear in mind Vietnam's support for the country’s achievements.

Laos will do its best to strengthen the great friendship, special solidarity and all-around cooperation between the two Parties and States and their people, the Lao official added.

He also congratulated Laos on its achievements over the past 65 years under the leadership of the LPRP, while describing cooperation between the two Parties over the past time as a decisive factor for all victories of the two countries’ revolutions as well as their national construction and development causes.

Vietnam always sticks importance to fostering the bilateral relations, he affirmed, showing his confidence that both nations will overcome all difficulties towards fulfilling all set socio-economic development targets, the Vietnamese diplomat said.
