VFF Vice President hails cooperation with Shanghai Committee

VOV.VN - Vice President and Secretary General of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee Hau A Lenh has hailed sound relations and fruitful cooperation between the VFF with the Shanghai Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).

At a meeting on April 23 in Hanoi with a CPPCC delegation, the VFF Vice President said that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Communist Party of China, the VFF and the CPPCC have realized the ideologies and guidelines built by late Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Mao Zedong and the two countries' leaders.

He applauded the ties between the Shanghai municipal CPPCC Committee and a number of Vietnamese localities, especially the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Ho Chi Minh City VFF Committee and showed his hope that the two sides would carry out reached agreements effectively.

A Lenh also urged the Shanghai CPPCC Committee to step up cooperation with other Vietnamese localities as the good way to intensify experience sharing and deepen mutual understanding.

Zhou Hanmin, member of the CPPCC National Committee’s standing committee, said his delegation’s working visit is designed to boost ties between the Shanghai CPPCC Committee and the HCM City VFF Committee and expand cooperation with local VFF committees across Vietnam, helping to promote the two countries’ comprehensive cooperation in multiple fields.

He also hoped for closer collaboration between Shanghai, as well as China, and Vietnamese localities, and pledged his best efforts to strengthen people-to-people exchange and cooperation in issues of mutual concern.
